Veena is a string instrument where each string holds very unique, melodious Nada. It is the only instrument where we can play all the 5 pitches (Tara, Ati-tara, Madhyama, Mandra, Ati-mandra) of Swaras. The main string of Veena is innermost. It is mostly used in Carnatic Classical Music.
